Shopping for Twins Made Easy

You’re having twins (or have twins) and now you want to do some shopping for twins. Welcome to my crazy obsession of finding boy and girl twin matching outfits.

Shopping for twins can be so much fun! You know the feeling you get when you use coupons at the grocery store and save money? Well shopping for twins gives the same exhilarating feeling. It’s like a huge sense of accomplishment.

People think I’m crazy for spending so much money on my twins’ clothes, but it’s so worth it to me. I’m not having any more babies so might as well soak it in while they’re still young, amirite?

Where to Shop for Matching Twin Clothes for Boy and Girl

I always have people ask me where the best place to shop for matching twin clothes for boys and girls. There are so many brands that cater to Moms of multiples now and it is awesome!

They make it so easy to find the perfect matches and coordinating outfits for the little loves of your life. There is such an array of brands, I decided to compile the best ones all in the same place for your ease.

Carter’s/Osh Kosh

A clothing giant for kids is Carter’s, who also owns OshKosh. They are known for their array of clothes ranging from newborn to size twelve. They are always well priced and the material is pretty durable.

I get a lot of my twins’ play clothes from Carter’s because they are more on the inexpensive side so my feelings don’t get as hurt when they are ruined.

They have some pretty awesome matching sets, ranging from pajamas to two-piece outfits to swimwear. You can literally find anything you need when shopping for twins here. And they always have sales going on so you get the best bang for your buck.

Carter’s also has a new line for younger kids, ages newborn to toddlers, called Little Planet. This line is all organic and gives a more boho vibe. They have some extremely cute matching sets.

Janie and Jack

When I want to buy some upscale clothing for my babies, I usually check out Janie and Jack first. They, too, have a lot of coordinating outfits for twins. Their sets do more of the coordinating color matches as oppose to exact matches.

They have lots of color coordinating combinations with some really cute themes and they have some super trendy shoes for your babes, as well. I bought some “suede boat shoes” for my boy there and I am completely obsessed with them! And they had a gray set of sandals for my girl! Win/Win!

I say they’re more upscale because their clothes are more expensive than others and the quality is really good. I bought my twins’ Easter outfits from Janie and Jack this past year and they’ve held up great!

A great benefit to this brand is that they offer sizes ranging from newborn to sixteen (which they call their ‘tween’ line). This is great for those of you who still want really good quality clothes that are also trendy for your teenagers. Their clothes seem to run true to size in my opinion.

If you’re wanting some classy boy and girl twin matching outfits, Janie and Jack is your best bet. You can check out all they have to offer here!

Millie Loves Lily

Millie Loves Lily is probably one of my favorite brands to browse when shopping for twins. You can purchase this brand through Zulily. They have a boys line called Millie & Maxx and the matches for twins are exact.

They have clothes for all seasons, including swimwear, spring styles, and winter.

I actually just purchased a few summer sets and swimwear from them that I’m currently waiting on (the waiting is the worst part).

They are priced pretty fairly and the quality is really good. This is definitely my go-to brand when I want some really cute boy and girl twin matching outfits.

Primary

Primary is a great brand for finding those solid color matches. They literally have every color under the rainbow, hence their name.

If I find a really cute outfit for my daughter but am having trouble finding a matching set for my son, I’ll usually buy a solid colored shirt from Primary. You can never go wrong with coordinating solid colors with prints.

I really love the simplicity of this brand. Sometimes, the simpler, the better.

They have sizes from newborn to fourteen and everything in-between. I personally think their clothes run a little on the smaller size, but not by much.

Little Sleepies

My all time favorite pajamas brand to shop for twins is Little Sleepies. They use a bamboo material so everything is extremely soft and it stays that way even after you wash and dry (or hang up, as they recommend).

They always come out with the cutest designs and matches for siblings.

Bamboo Pajamas | Matching PJs for Babies, Kids & Adults

I currently own 6 sets of these pj’s and they are amazing. I love the way they fit on my babies. They kind of grow with them, so you can keep them longer. The ones I have for my babes now are kind of loose, but they are made to be worn tight, so we can wear them for at least another four to six months (which is awesome, considering how fast they grow).

Their sizes range from preemie to fourteen, which is amazing for those of you with teeny tiny babes. Preemies deserve to be cute and trendy too, right?

Boden

I have just recently come across this brand and it’s really making its way to the top of my list. They really have an amazing array of sizes, ranging from newborn to fourteen, and they also have adult sizes as well (for you crazy, obsessed, family matching Mamas out there – me, it’s me).

One of my favorite things about this brand is that a lot of the kids clothes are interactive, meaning they have flaps you can flip up or down on the clothing, or they have sequins that you can move up or down. It really makes wearing these clothes a lot of fun.

Boden is known for their sustainable clothing. They use a lot of recycled polyester as their fabric and gather their cotton from more sustainable sources. Who doesn’t love a green brand?!

If you’re currently shopping for twins, definitely check out Boden’s amazing style by clicking here!

The Children’s Place/Gymboree

I love The Children’s Place, who also owns Gymboree, because their clothes are extremely affordable for everyone!

They have a huge spread of sizes ranging from newborn to eighteen (woah!). So if you’re wanting your teenager to match your newborn, this is the place to shop.

The Children’s Place always has some great sales on top of their already affordable prices. They also sell most of their clothes in bundles, so you really get the best for your money. I get a lot of our onesies to wear around the house from here.

I also love Gymboree because they’re a step up from The Children’s Place, as far as pricing goes, but still really affordable and they have some amazing matching sets!

You can check out both brands here!

I sure hope this list of great brands helps you with shopping for twins. If you’re like me, this will be more fun than overwhelming. If you aren’t like me and you don’t like this kind of stuff, check out some sets I picked out for you under the best twin boy and girl matching outfits!
